SENIOR COLLECTION

CICA + FEFI
Designed by Stacey Cambre, Cica & Fefi is a resort wear collection for the summer season. Inspired by her grandparents, Ilona and Frances Brem, Cica & Fefi balances a mix of Hungarian folk and coastal elements with a '60s flare. This collection highlights the importance of sustainable fashion by focusing on the longevity and versatility of garments. Each garment is designed to mix and match across the collection, with all garments being reversible in contrasting warm and cool color schemes. The designs also contain removeable or transformative elements to prolong the life of the collection. Each piece is unique through its embellishments, such as hand-crafted embroidery, floral appliqué, and beading techniques, thus making a statement in both aesthetics and environmental impact.

"REVIVE" EMBELLISHED JUMPSUIT

Inspired by the culture of my hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.
The jumpsuit contains a boned bodice, lined interior, as we as hand embellishment techniques - such as beading and feather application. Flat pattern methods were used and the design was created to fit the model's measurements. Approximately 50 hours were spent on beading. The bow and feather cape are removable to transform the jumpsuit into a different look.
UPCYCLED MUSIC DRESS

This dress was created for an upcycled project for my draping class. The shell of the dress was drafted from a princess bodice drape and a flared skirt. It was constructed in recycled upholstery leather. The guitar picks were created out of old gift cards and painted. The round midriff cutout and gold circles on the back of the dress were cut from a broken drum cymbal. The flowers on the front and back were constructed from guitar strings.
FLAT PATTERN MINI-COLLECTION

MOOD BOARD
Inspired by coastal elements and common trends from Vogue of June 1965, 1966, and 1967. All fashion images are from Vogue archives.

CROQUIS RENDERINGS
Common Vogue trends such as high necklines, ruffles, solid colors, mini hemlines, and triangular silhouettes were incorporated into the initial designs. Scallops were also added as a focal design element.
